LEHP!

I was cruising the list of blogs Hope has listed on her site and came across this video over on A Soldier’s Perspective. The video was apparently created by something called the 545 Project (no clue). I usually hate those crappy YouTube videos put together with crappy music and ham-handedly designed to send some kind of political message with all the subtlety of a fart in church, but this one kinda grabbed me. Just make sure you turn your speakers off.

Cheers,

    I understand why you though this was worth posting. With your permission I will post it, too. Thanks, Dacker

    @Coffeypot
    Please do. This is a message I’d really like to keep in the front of people’s minds. I lifted it off A Soldier’s Perspective and I’m kinda hoping the video catches on.

    Hey bro. I came over from coffeypot. I’m gonna start following you. I’m a veteran myself and now work as one of those low level government VA employees you hate. Only, I take care of guys. When I find another employee treating them like shit, I report them. My main area is customer service in the 1st party billing/patient accounts dept, but if you ever need any info on navigating the system, let me know, and I’ll see what I can find out. Don’t put up with any shit though, cause every VA employees MAIN job is helping the veteran. Someone gives you shit, report them. We have too many old burnt out fucks in the system who’ve been sucking the federal tit for too long. The herd needs thinned.

    @Ed Adams
    Hey Ed, thanks for coming by. It’s not the low level government VA employee I hate, it’s the one who sits on his ass, doesn’t do his job and is rude about it. I saw many employees at the hospital that were just buried in work, but somehow were still able to maintain a positive attitude. But, I also saw some useless garbage collecting paychecks.

    Despite all my huffing and puffing, I’m still scared to death to do something that might cost a person his job in this economy based on my one encounter. What if I’m wrong, or that person really was just having a bad day? I know that’s not normally the case, but I wish middle management would do their farking job and police up those people. They are in a much better position to determine whether the person’s behavior is typical or unusual.

    I’m kind of a wuss about stuff like that.

    Cheers!
